As a don’t-call-it-a-sequel sidestory, Exit seems fast-tracked and thinner, built to add just another few precious ounces of content to the Gungeonverse without the obsessive level of attention and development granted to the original, itself a modern classic which stands head and shoulders with the finest action roguelikes ever made. Those stressed-out gamers locked out of Apple’s ecosystem finally know justice, as former Apple Arcade cherry-on-top exclusive Exit the Gungeon has finally released to the multi-platform masses in an updated, upgraded version. ![]()
